NO.297

Last night, a bunch of us were invited to (Pastry Chef) Maya’s house for dinner. She cooked everything you see in the photos below, except Mariam’s Old Chang Kee curry puffs. Everything was so delicious, the winner for me being the potato salad. We hung out for the rest of the night, listening to their stories of high school days in Singapore. It sounded like they all went to one of those gangster schools you see in Japanese movies! Funny stuff though, some things I couldn’t imagine going on in a school environment. Anyway, I had a rad time, its always good having a cook-out with friends. Better when the friend is an actual chef and whips up a feast like this for everyone! Thanks Maya.
