Port Lincoln Part 3:
In the afternoon we took the quad out for a ride around the farm, the last time I rode one of these, I crashed it straight into an electrical pole, this time round was a great success. Later in the afternoon, we went for a short drive down to Farm Beach and Gallipoli Beach. It was pretty cool looking out into an endless ocean and the view from Gallipoli Beach was breathe-taking. Literally standing on the edge of the cliff watching the waves crash down on the rocks and the rain coming towards us. On the way there, I also saw something I have never and will probably never see again. Farmers herding their cows from one place to another, driving down a main road and seeing about thirty cows slowly walking towards and around the car is something I will probably never experience again.
Concluding the short trip, we had a scrumptious seafood dinner (oysters!) at the Lincoln Hotel with the Jaensch family and friends followed by Nikita’s Dad’s birthday party in a big shed located in an area I couldn’t even name. That night ended at the local bar, Sharkies, where it was all fun and laughter till some kid and his oversized female friend decided it was funny to continuously grab and slap our bums. His neck felt what it was like to have my palm around it, and before you know it I was thrown out, ending the whole journey with a big bang! This trip was exactly what I needed.
