Fresh Kingfish & Oysters:
Being in Port Lincoln, I’m taking the chance to consume the freshest seafoods. On Friday afternoon, Sarah’s Dad came home with a whole Kingfish after hearing about how much I loved it’s natural flavour and on that same evening, we paid a visit to one of the Coffin Bay oyster factories and got something like seven dozens for dinner and Christmas. That evening, we sliced up the fresh kingfish and had its pale translucent flesh sashimi-style with some soy sauce and wasabi. We also shucked about two and a half dozen oysters for dinner and consumed them in the backyard. Nothing like fresh and raw seafood.
