Record find: Peter Sarstedt – “Update”
There’s nothing better than finding an awesome record at an unexpected place. While prowling through the abundance of old worldly goods at Chapel Street Bazaar last weekend, I came across one stall with milk crates packed with records from the 50’s to 80’s. After sifting through many cheesy cover artworks, I came across this gem! Now, I don’t know how rare or popular Peter Sarstedt is or was, but for me scoring this old piece of wax for $8 made my weekend. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. “Stay within myself” and “Where do you go to my lovely” are definitely my top tracks!
